“Let’s fly!” I announced and kicked off from the ground. He followed my lead and then we were flying straight up. We got close to one of the clouds and straightened out, flying level. I stretched out my hand to touch the cloud and as I did so white whirly lights flowed out. It shone like stars, just like the lights in the elf forest. It gradually went back into the cloud as if there was a gravitational pull for the light. I hadn’t seen it shine like that when I had stood far below but up close it shone, just like stars and dust.

“Can you see that?” I said in amusement. “Yeah, it’s beautiful.”

We flew on, dropping lower by the seaside watching the waves caress the shore, the rocks shimmering in the sunlight. We changed directions flying towards the mountain. Looking down I could see some highland cows eating off the rich green grass on a hill top. The wind was blowing brisk making the hair from my head tickle my arms like little whips. But it wasn’t cold, just felt fresh.

Peter was smiling over at me, it was showing off his dimples, the one on his right cheek slightly more dominant than the other. It made him look playful and sexy.

We were getting closer to the mountain, there was snow at the very top. About a third of the way down there was a large ledge with a couple of trees in autumn colours, one was bright red, the other a yellow orange mix. Some leaves were flying off and dancing in the wind, swirling like a perfectly choreographed piece.

“Let’s land there.” I nodded my head in the direction of the ledge. He just smiled and nodded in agreement. We flew a bit lower and landed softly on the rocky surface. It
