I changed the subject to Chris, asking her if they’d met today. They’d been texting a lot and were meeting on Wednesday.
“Oh, I’m meeting Dave on Wednesday as well actually.”
“Oh yeah, good on you hun, he’s fabulous! Maybe you could be like a goddess with loads of men at your feet!
Sounds like you’re well on your way. But you’d have to share, I mean, it was my idea.”
I laughed at her.
“Sure Lisa, that’s the plan, let’s do it! I’m sure the guys would all be fine with that”, sarcasm colouring my sentence.
