little replica of the statue of liberty and a kilt amongst a lot of other things. I felt like I was looking at someones life of lost things. Peters things perhaps.

I came out of the cloud. It blew away from me, leaving fresh air for me to breathe. I looked down at my feet and realized that I was standing on the ledge of a mountain, the one where me and Peter had been intimate. I felt butterflies in my stomach, just thinking about it. The smell of him and his touch all over me. Like we’d never been apart. I would treasure that moment forever. He wasn’t here now however. Now it was just an empty ledge with a little patch of grass. The wind blowing fierce on my cheeks. I sat down and wept, feeling alone, heartbroken and cold to my core. There was nowhere to run here. I thought of trying to fly off it but the thought of falling again made me feel a bit sick. So there I sat, looking down at the rock by my feet and I fell to the ground.

It felt hopeless. My cheeks wet from tears but also from the rain that had just begun, as if the weather was reading my mind, maybe they were all my tears. I fell into darkness, maybe sleep within a dream, I didn’t care. I just wanted to be back in my bed. Any place was better than these nightmares.
