together at four. A little earlier than usual, but it was Friday and Christine had suggested it herself so I wasn’t going to say no to that.

Dave had texted me around lunch time and suggested that we meet at an Italian restaurant called Giuliano’s on Commercial Street at seven. I had agreed. I’d take a bus there but would probably take a taxi back. Dave lived near Commercial Street. I hoped it wasn’t a sort of plan to get me home to his place after.

Once I was home I changed into fitted black jeans, a black lace top and a little fitted black blazer. I wore long silver earrings and a couple of silver bracelets, put on a pair of semi high heels in black and then I sat down at the kitchen table with a glass of wine. I put Ed Sheeran on Spotify and looked out the window. Lisa came through looking dolled up like she was going out as well.

“Hi,” I said. “You going out as well?” “Yeah, meeting a friend for a drink.” “You not meeting Chris tonight?”

“Don’t know, we didn’t make any plans, and I don’t want to push it.” She said with a little frown as she took out a wine glass from the cupboard and poured herself some wine as well.

“That’s probably a good idea. No need to rush things.” “Where are you going? You look good!” she said

“Ooooh…” She said going up in pitch. I gave her a dirty look. “Haha! Chill out girl, enjoy the attention!”
