“OK, I'm off soon too, just need to hop into the shower.”

Lisa skipped away into the bathroom and put on the shower.

 

My parents lived on Trinity Road, which wasn't that far away but I never liked being late and it took a good 20 minutes to get there if I got a bus quick enough. So I put my paints away and tidied things up. Then put on my autumn jacket, the one I’d worn in the dream, and a dark red scarf and my brown boots. It was drizzling a little outside so I took my umbrella with me.

“Bye Lisa, see you later, have fun at the show!” “Bye, bye hun! See ya later!” she sang from the

shower.

 

I arrived at my parents house, it was a nice area and their house was of a decent size. We hadn't always lived there, up until I was eleven we lived in flats around the city. My parents didn't have a lot of money back then but they were still happy. My mum worked as a teacher at a college, she taught law and my dad had his own business selling building parts for houses. It didn't really take off until I was eleven though. That’s when he started making a steady income from it.

The house they lived in now was a typical old Edinburgh house with the big windows and high roof, really pretty.
