direction. His blue eyes looking right at me. Then I had a realization, I knew I was dreaming. The thought saddened me. Of course, this was too good to be true. I looked down at the ground, letting my shoulders fall to my side.

“What’s the matter?” he said in a kind voice. “You look sad.”

He held up my chin with his hand gently. “I know this isn’t real.”

He looked at me without saying anything for a few seconds.“I’m real Alex.”

He took my hand in his.

“But this,” I gestured all around, “It’s just a dream.” “Well, if it is,” he said with an excited smile. “Then

let’s have some fun.”

At that he held out his hand.

“See the moon? Alex, if it’s a dream, then anything’s possible right? Let’s fly to it.”

The thought of flying to the moon should have scared me, but the way Peter was looking at me made me feel completely at ease and protected. Plus the fact that I knew I was dreaming. But more than anything, I wanted to go on an adventure with him, I would follow him anywhere. It wasn’t logical trusting a stranger, but my gut said yes. I put my hand in his. He looked me in the eye and said: “I’ve got you,” and then we rose, leaving the ground beneath us. My stomach tickled as we went higher. Then we spread our arms out whilst still holding hands and we started flying faster. I felt the wind on my face and through my hair. The lake and trees got smaller the higher up we flew. A breath away and we were above the clouds and into space. We hovered there for a few seconds, just floating. I felt a little scared but Peter squeezed my hand and looked at me reassuringly, and it calmed me. We flew
