As I ranted he walked up close to me. I could smell his perfume and feel his presence surround me with love and care.
I looked up into his eyes and knew before he even opened his mouth that this is farewell. Even as he prepared to say his goodbye I saw his patent smile all loving and mysterious, I could see his dimple shine bright, that twinkle in his eyes.
“I love you dearly and always remember that. Our time together has been cut short but it was most precious and beautiful. Now, your situation has changed and life will present different challenges, experiences, and hopefully a new love for you. I would be able to rest peacefully if you would live and love life the way you wanted to, the way we planned. Please don’t let our dreams fade, love the people in your life old and the new to come.
