Chapter 11: Morning
During the night, Cindi slipped into Kam's bed. They did not do anything but cuddle, talk, and eventually sleep. But, they both enjoyed the time together.
Early morning, they went for run. It went similar to yesterdays more play than distance. Everyone, but the sentries, were still sleeping, after two hours of play.
Cindi told Kam to grab some clothes and lead him to her bedroom's shower. She proceeded to wash his body taking her time and teasing it for at least fifteen minutes. For his turn, he teased more than washing eventually getting her clean, after a good half hour.
By the time the left Cindi's room, breakfast was going on in the dining room. Jim looked at Kam weird like he suspected something more had happened. He was already in trouble for slipping away yesterday, as if he could not take care of himself. Kam thinks maybe another talk about who he works for is due. It is as if Kam is still three in Jim's mind, not eighteen and his alpha.
Cindi get similar looks from both Rissa and her dad. Rissa likely knows they showered together. She still works for the alpha so likely reported it.
In any event, Kam knows that having sex with his luna can cause pregnancy regardless of the protection they might try using, because the goddess overrides it. The only safe way to prevent early pregnancy is to not have sex, until marriage. Afterwards, the goddess will limit the children without protection as she sees fit.
His wolf does not care to hear that, it wants to bond to its mate. Too many days have already been wasted. Take her on the table or any other spot now and stop trying to keep them apart.
Kam wonders if Cindi is having as much trouble with her wolf as he is. The correct answer is worst. Her wolf wanted to run north to her mate ignoring her father's wishes. She was caught between her wolf and father, until Kam showed up. He only had his own desires to deal with. Her desires were ignore by both sides. Even Kam argued against fulfilling her desires, though did not stop them, since he let her into his bed and joined her in the shower. He only stated they should not, before doing as she asked. She knew she was playing with fire putting them in situations that might let their wolves win. Kam managed to stop the wolves at his car yesterday. Hopefully, he could continue that force of willpower.
