Chapter 20: Condos

The first thing Kam did, as he got off the bus, was carry Cindi's and his bag into his condo, ninety minutes later. Next, he took Cindi with him to met with Chris' wife. She was still working with settling the Pelham pack. He introduced her to both wives as Pelham's luna was also working on that task. They introduced her to other adult females from both packs that were also helping. When done, they would continue as a group to each pack in the order it arrived. Cindi was given a rundown of the process on the trip here by her mom.

Things they would be doing include:

- making sure the condos had enough food for a couple days,

- making sure the inhabitants had clothing,

- making sure they knew what was expected of them, and

- address any issues they might have.

Each female goes to a condo unit by herself. She handles the check list and makes notes of the discussion so orders can be made. The condo assignments come from the wife of the highest rank leader in that pack. Luna Amy, with other adult females of the pack, will be starting that process with those of Bow's pack shortly, once they assess their own condos.

Meanwhile, the male leadership was in Kam's condo waiting on him. Leaving Cindi, he headed back to his new home. Chris, Pelham's Alpha Mike, and Alpha Tom were waiting for him. Looking at his beta, "what is the latest status of the other packs? Are they all on their way here?"

Chris replies, "Winchester just left a few minute ago. Bethlehem should be arriving now. The others are not too far behind. We should have multiple buses for this situation. I suggest we handle all first buses before any seconds so the infants can be put to bed."

Kam smiles, "that makes sense. Do you two agree with changing protocol?"

Both alphas say, "yes."

Kam calls the drivers burner, "change of order. Take the bus with the youngest child, as they should be a priority based on the time. If the children are all gone, take the bus with the oldest adult."

Kam states to both the driver and those in front of him, "we should send snacks and drinks on the next bus back there because I am sure there is not much available with them."

Kam hangs up and calls his mom, "can you organize snacks and drinks to send to the people waiting at the parking lot? We have four more packs incoming shortly so they will be sitting there a while." She is with the group Cindi is with.

After he hangs up, he asks, "what should we do about our drug dealing bears? We know there is at least twenty of them. Also, one werebear killed five werewolves, including my dad, not to mention it came close to killing me three times.”
