CHAPTER THIRTEEN

RADIATE HOPE

In a world where most are helpless and poor, needing some comfort, there seems to be a lack of men who have the capacity to transmit hope to them. The world seems to be in short supply of marvels who revel in giving hope to the hopeless. You are thus in a quest where only a few persons have proven themselves at.

It is saddening to note that those who claim to be marvelous have nothing to offer. The world is looking for real marvels that could speak words of comfort to the less privileged and give them a reason to be joyful and happy.

What does it mean to radiate hope? It is to:

• Harmonize our heart with those who are helpless to help themselves. When we feel how they feel, however, high we are and choose to come down to the same level in order to hold their hands, you are radiating hope.
• Occupy one's heart in such a way as to uplift them when they think about you. Persons who radiate hope are often likable and thought or pictures of them always evoke sweet memories.
• Polarize minds of people pushing negative fear mentality to one corner of the mind and allowing joy and happiness the bulk of the mind
• Expose hidden possibilities that others haven’t discovered they have by helping them find the possibilities that their unknown capacity can help them evolve. In doing this, you are radiating hope.

Hope is the belief that something you want will happen. Sometimes a person has tried many times towards achieving something but all to no avail, his efforts reach a dead end. The tendency is often to give up. Here’s where the marvelous man comes in. he holds his hands and says “friend I can show you the better way and you’d get it right this time”. That’s radiating hope.

I was downcast at some point in my life because all I wanted wasn’t going as planned. I had entered the university with the hope that I'd do very well from the start but was doing poorly. One day while I was studying, a friend came to me and said “ I saw you in the labyrinths of my thoughts and I know this word is for you. Whatever you are going through, just know God will see you through it”. I was so happy to have heard such consoling words from an unexpected fellow. It was soothing and gave me hope that something better was coming. That was actually the inertia that kept me going through the difficult travails that characterized life in school.

The marvel is always hopeful. However slim his chances, he thinks that that slim chance is all he needs to upturn the situation and make a way for himself. To him, all hope is not lost and he radiates this quality to every situation he comes across.

Why is the marvel always hopeful? He is because;

He has developed a MENTALITY that however bad a situation, there is a chance for better. He sticks his head continuously in search of this better and gets the better

He has ASCENDED from the downside of never expecting too much to believe that the impossible is absolutely possible.

He has learned to REJECT any self-demeaning belief that could depress his quest to achieve great things. He believes and that soothes him.

He has learned to VIEW life as a challenge he has to continually challenge day in, day out. He sets his gaze up always at the prize and that’s what keeps him going.

He has learned to ERADICATE all forms of doubts on his path to doing great things. To him, fear doesn’t exist. He just keeps pushing till something happens.

He has learned to LOOK ahead at every point it seems he is going to fall. When he does fall, he arises again, looking up till he reaches his destination.

The marvel’s hope radiating attribute makes him often attract people around him his hopes often find a way to become his realities. He says it in faith and gets what he says. Thus, when he sees some person who is facing a downtime, he knows he the right words to lift them up because he has learned to lift himself up too through his struggles.

You just have to radiate hope.
