Who am I? What is the role I play in the universe?
I have not found any answer to this question in any religious or spiritual texts.
But, we can reasonably guess by extrapolating the lives lesser (space-time) lives.
Plants and the micro organisms in the soil would never know that they exist for the Human and Animal lives benefit from.
There are millions of micro organisms that are invisible to us. There are the earth worms in the soil and most of us do not know the purpose for which they were created.
But we are told by the life scientists that they play a very important role in our lives. How is that?
(1) Most people and animals live on plant lives.
Plant lives, together with micro organisms supply the world of Animals and humans food with metals, minerals and various nutrients.
The tiny lives in our body called blood cells carry the these ingredients (digested from food) to various body parts.
The plant lives carry a large number of metals, minerals and nutrients are in the soil. These are mobilized by micro organisms to the plants.
These are essential for the healthy Existence of Human and animal lives.
Conclusion:
Every life forms contribute to support lives of higher life-forms than themselves.
