Heat Exhaustion is a Medical Emergency, if the person becomes unconscious or has a seizure Call an Ambulance Immediately
Remember to drink 8 to 12 cups of water every day
Signs and Symptoms of Heat Exhaustion
- Feeling dizzy or faint
- Nausea and vomiting
- Sweating
- Cold clammy skin
- Pale or flushed face
- Headache
- Muscle cramps
Treatment
- Put the person in a cool area, in the shade or in air conditioning
- Remove unnecessary clothing
- If possible give a cool sponge bath
- If the patient is able to drink, give water
- Seek medical assistance
